Find out how the Academy’s European City of the Year is responding to challenges in cost of living and social inequality while maintaining its position as one of the world’s most liveable cities

Copenhagen
Sunday 17 Sept @ 18:00 until Tuesday 19 September @ 17:00

We are excited to announce that immediately after Congress the Academy will travel to Copenhagen for a two-day study visit to learn more about our current European City of the Year.

Taking place over 17-19 September the visit will pick up key themes of sustainability and resilience, good governance, community participation and high-quality physical space. Read what the Academy had to say about Copenhagen following its assessment in 2016.

Meet key people from the city, practice and business and see the projects that have combined to make Copenhagen a world-renowned powerhouse of good urbanism.
