Ann Bogan, Head of Planning Policy, Cork City Council

Ann Bogan is head of Planning Policy with Cork City Council and leads an interdisciplinary team dealing with Planning Policy, Architectural Conservation, Heritage and Urban Renewal in Cork City. An Urban Planner with over 30 years experience she has led preparation of a number of Cork City Development Plans, Local area plans and the Cork City Centre Strategy. Development of Local Area Plans for the extensive brownfield Cork Docklands is a key priority for the Team at present. Ann chairs the Working Group for Cork 2050, a joint City /County Strategy for the future development of Cork, and is co-ordinating Cork City’s input to the Southern Regional Strategy and the Cork Metropolitan Area Strategic Plan.
