Workshop: Solving the housing crises: New Thinking – New Solutions – Day Two @ 14:00

Christopher is part of the Savills Residential Research team where he works closely with planning and development teams in carrying out research consultancy work for clients.

Working for a range of clients, Christopher combines analysis of market and demographic data with Savills market intelligence to find innovative solutions to their questions.

A major part of Christopher’s role is keeping abreast of current economic affairs and how they affect housing market prospects. He is instrumental in formulating Savills forecasts for the residential market.

Recent projects include

  • Analysis of the potential for residential value uplift through development and regeneration across Greater London to inform development strategy;
  • Provision of evidence for planning applications and local plan examinations, with regard to unmet housing demand and need;
  • Advice on market capacity, price potential and rates of market absorption for development across land portfolios and on individual schemes;
  • Analysis of demand for rented housing across the UK;
  • Modelling of leasehold enfranchisement claims to forecast future receipts from long leasehold portfolios.
  •
    Christopher began his career with Savills in the Chelmsford Rural department in September 2008 from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, where he studied for degrees in Natural Sciences, Chemistry and Environmental Policy. He qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in November 2010 and joined the Residential Research department in February 2011.
