Simon Price is leading Ramboll UK’s Planning & Urban Design (PUD) initiative, offering clients holistic city development solutions to global challenges such as rapid urbanisation and climate change.
As a result of steadily building Ramboll UK’s reputation in the PUD market since last Autumn, Simon has received an invitation from the Clinton Global Initiative to participate in a panel discussion and workshop on “Investing for Impact: Financing the Transition to a Circular Economy”.
Simon is internationally respected as the chair of the PIARC – World Road Association ‘Climate Change and Sustainability Technical Committee (TC 1.3) which is responsible for analysing aspects of the challenges posed by climate change and sustainability at both a local and international level.
Recent media articles published by Simon include: “Improving Liveability in our Cities” and “Engineering Happiness in our Cities” published, respectively, on the One Big Society and Adjacent Government websites.
In March, the New Civil Engineer published Simon’s comments on the role civil engineers should play in planning cities in an article following the historic COP21 agreement.
