Workshop: Healthy People, Healthy Places, Healthy Planet – Day Two @ 14:00
Champion of low & zero carbon energy supply systems, Anthony Riddle’s expertise lies in district heating and combined heat and power, and he also has experience of utility scale wind power and solar PV systems.
In the field of District Heating and CHP, Anthony has worked for many high profile clients including the London Development
Agency under the Mayor’s decentralized Energy Masterplanning Programme (DEMaP), Greater London Authority, Association of Greater Manchester Authorities, BAA, Cooperative Estates, Quintain, Lend Lease, Mitie, Scottish and Southern Energy, City West Homes and London boroughs of Newham, Brent, Havering, Camden and Redbridge.

Anthony’s background in decentralised energy masterplanning has a strong focus on heat networks and the integration of IC engine CHP, extraction condensing CHP (from biomass and energy from energy plants) and the capture of low grade heat from geothermal, solar thermal and industrial waste heat sources.
He is currently working in the field of SMART energy grids and the role of heat networks within these grids, drawing on expertise and experience from latest developments in the field in Denmark.
Dr Anthony Riddle also has experience of utility scale wind power, and a PhD in Wind turbine control and fatigue.
