Understanding London now and its future – Day One @ 13.10
Richard Brown is Research Director at Centre for London. He previously spent ten years working on the London 2012 and legacy project, including as Strategy Director for London Legacy Development Corporation. Before that he ran the Mayor of London’s Architecture and Urbanism Unit, managed research projects at the Audit Commission, and worked as a freelance consultant and journalist.
Richard’s talk will cover the political, economic and demographic changes that have affected London over the past 10-15 years, from population growth, to inner city rebirth, to the great move east, to densification, to transport investment.
